Human nature is a funny thing, so it’s no surprise that we’re not always rational.

In this thought provoking, fun, and engaging game, players second-guess human nature by predicting decisions people will make in unique situations. The answers are backed up by research, and each card explains why we act the way we do. But the best part is the discussions it sparks . . . and the way players can use the insights in the game to understand how they make decisions, and to make better decisions that will enrich their lives.

OBJECTIVE & PREPARATIONS

The first player to collect 5 question cards, one from each category, or 7 cards from any category, wins the game.

1. Place the Question Cards in one pile (face side up) and the Power Cards in another pile (back side up)

2. Leave room for a discard pile (used Power Cards).

ON YOUR TURN

Draw a question card from from the Question Card pile, read the question and try to predict the correct answer from the 4 multiple-choice questions.

WHAT TO DO AFTER YOU ANSWER

IF YOU PREDICT THE CORRECT ANSWER

Read the experiment's takeaway on the back of the card and keep the card.
If your Question Card has a bonus/ best practice question, you can try to answer the question. Answering the question correctly earns the player a Power Card.

IF YOU MISS THE CORRECT ANSWER

Read the correct answer and the experimenter's takeaway on the back of the card and award the missed question card to the player with the fewest number of cards. It's now the next player's turn.

POWER CARDS

If your question had a Power Card icon, you are entitled to draw a power card at the end of your turn.

You can use any of your Power Cards at the end of your turn.
You can use a Power Card in the same turn your received it.

After you read the question (but before you answer it) you can use any of the power cards.

HOW TO GET A POWER CARD?

Draw a question that has a power card icon on it OR draw a question card that has a bonus question, and answer the bonus question correctly
